2. Genuine Leather Jacket
Apply a water and stain protector to your leather jacket to prevent water spots or stains. Prevent damage to your jacket by protecting it with an odorless, colorless aerosol protective spray before you wear it.
Hang your jacket on wide, padded hangers so the leather maintains its shape. This also forces any wrinkles to drop naturally from your garment. Store the leather jacket in a breathable garment bag and avoid allowing it to stay in a plastic dry cleaning or storage bag.
Allow your leather jacket to naturally air dry if it becomes wet. Avoid blow dryers, heat vents or other heat sources during the drying process.
Condition your leather jacket if it becomes dry or cracked. Check with your jacket's manufacturer for the best product to use on your jacket.
Remove salt deposits and other stains from your leather jacket as soon as possible. Wipe the leather with a damp sponge and allow the jacket to air dry.
Send your leather jacket to a professional leather cleaning specialist once a year. Remove the plastic cleaning bags before you store your jacket for extended periods of time.
3. Faux Fur
Make sure to store it where it will be kept dry;Avoid wearing it in wet weather conditions; buy a soft bristled clothes brush and gently brush the fur once a week; brush it in long strokes following the natural lines of the fur;
4. Down Jacket
Wash max 30°C - Mild process; Do not bleach; Do not tumble dry; Ironing maximum temperature 110°C - without steam; Dry cleaning in tetrachloroethene - mild process; Professional wet cleaning - mild process; Dry flat; Wash separately; It is advisable to wash with the garment on reverse.
